In the past nine months I’ve had many new experiences. Each of them has pushed me to grow in one or more ways. Sometimes I grew less fearful of situations that used to cause fear; such as driving downtown. Sometimes a new experience taught me to take risks despite a fear of the unknown. Sometimes I learned how to have fun – pure, joyous fun. It is an experience such as this that I will share now.
He and I, holding hands, walked into the night.
He said I looked like a witch. And I did, wearing the color of darkness.
We found ourselves among those who couldn’t see or hear and yet could witness us.
The graveyard and the love we made.
